Sun City Anthem Computer Club
General Meeting, January 6, 2005 at 1:30 p.m.

Topic: The Healthy PC

The speaker will  be Carey Holzman. Carey is the author of The Healthy PC: Preventive Care and Home Remedies for Your Computer. He uses a unique and humorous approach on a variety of topics for preventive care and home remedies to help you become a do-it-yourself computer guru. Carey uses a practical, rather than academic approach so that anyone can easily understand the concepts involved.

Carey is an instructor at the Glendale Community College, Glendale, Arizona.

Prizes! Prizes!

This meeting is open to all Sun City Anthem Residents.

Editor's note: Those of us attending the Association of Personal Computer User Groups' Annual Conference this week in Las Vegas have heard this dynamic speaker's presentation. I recommend it to all PC users.

Sun City Anthem Travel Club
Meeting, January 6 at 7:00 p.m.

The January meeting of the Sun City Anthem Travel Club will be on January 6th at 7:00 p.m.. Classic Custom Vacations will be our guest presenter. While Classic is well-known for Hawaii and Mexico they also sell travel arrangements in the Caribbean and Europe. They are known as well for presenting high end properties. However, they do so in value priced packages. Many times those can be combined with a very well-priced first class airfare which makes those long plane trips more than just a ride to get from here to there. Please join us even if you have traveled with Classic before — there is much that is new and exciting. Please RSVP as we will need to know how many are attending.

Two committees are needed as soon as we can get them organized.
1. Trip Planning — this group will work to ascertain which trips the membership would like to take and will then negotiate with travel vendors to obtain those trips with special pricing or amenities
2. Meeting Planning — this group will plan the topics/activities for each of the meetings during 2005.

If you have suggestions, nominations or would like to volunteer for either of these committees, please contact one of the officers.

Dues for 2005 will be collected at the January meeting. If you paid $1 in 2004 you will be asked to pay only $4, as we were not able to really provide many activities in 2004. If you were not a member in 2004 the dues for 2005 will be $5.
