Attn: Sun City Anthem homeowners
closing on new homes after January 2, 2004.
As the GE repairman arrived at my home
yesterday, he pointed out something that is of value to SCA
residents who closed on their homes after January 1, 2004 and have
GE appliances.
In a letter given those homeowners at closing, it states:
New GE 2 year Warranty plan for Del Webb
Homeowners. Effective with all orders for GE appliances placed
on or after January 1, 2004; Del Webb home-buyers will be
eligible to receive a one year extended warranty on all major
Del Webb/Pulte purchases direct from GE.
However, this extended warranty must be
activated separately from the appliance registration process, and
cannot be done on-line. I called and registered while the
repairman was completing his work and provided him with my
contract number provided by GE.
In order to activate the extended warranty the homeowner must call
GE at 1-800-428-2088 and provide their name, address, move-in-date
and all GE appliance Serial numbers. After registration,
homeowners will receive the contracts in the mail in a few days.
I hope this helps our neighbors,
Don Schramski
