Emergency Preparedness Committee

SPRING HAS SPRUNG
The continual “budding” and change within our community increases the need for Volunteers at all levels of operation.

If you have ever helped a neighbor or a friend after an earthquake or weather emergency you are a “first responder” and a part of “Homeland Security.” So, why not be prepared!

As a member of The Sun City Anthem Emergency Preparedness Committee's team you will receive training that will make your assistance to others more effective.

We also want YOUR suggestions for further training needs, programs, or any information that you think would make us better prepared for an emergency.

We are looking forward to seeing you:

Notice! Meeting location change

Finance Club,Wednesday April 13, 7:00 p.m.-Delaware Room open to all SCA residents

This meeting will be held in the Delaware Room in the Anthem Center. The new speakers hall is not yet ready for club meetings.

The subject matter for this meeting is a concern for all of us as it is one of the fastest growing categories of crime in the country. Our guest speaker will be Mr. Andrew Urban of the City of Henderson Attorney's Office. He will discuss how to protect yourself from "Scams, Frauds and Identity Theft" and what to do if you become a victim. Find out why "phishing" is not a recreational activity. Bring your questions and be prepared for a stimulating meeting.

Mark your calendars for the May 6th NASD Breakfast Forum co-sponsored by the Anthem Financial Club. Seating will be limited so watch for further information on how you can reserve your space at this special event.
