Sun City Anthem Computer
Club
May 5, 2005 at 1:30 p.m.
This Join us on Thursday in the
Delaware Room, when Keith Ennis of Voice Factor / PCS
Inc. will speak on Voice Recognition: What It Can Do for
You.
The Voice Factor Bundle is the ultimate software package
including Scansoft’s NaturallySpeaking, plus an upgraded
high-quality noise canceling microphone, a
text-to-speech program called TextAloud, and your
internet filing cabinet SurfSaver.
NaturallySpeaking is the most advanced voice-recognition
technology on the market today and after only five
minutes of creating a user profile; you can become a
skilled typist, using your voice instead of your
keyboard and mouse. You can talk to your computer and
watch your words instantly appear in virtually any
Windows® based application. TextAloud does the opposite,
converting text into speech. Thus, with
NaturallySpeaking and TextAloud it is possible to enter
information into your computer by talking instead of
typing and then being able to listen to text rather than
reading it. Imagine listening to your incoming e-mail
messages and then being able to dictate your responses!
Come find out more about this evolving technology on May
5th.
Prizes! This meeting is open to all Sun City Anthem
residents. Invite your neighbors. |
