Sun City Anthem Web Site!
Tips & Instructions

  1. There is a username for each holder of a Sun City Anthem Member ID card — it is the Member ID #.
    All
    should Login and update their individual User Profiles.
    1. If there are more than one user of your computer without separate login, don't have the browser save your login information. If you do, you'll have to clear Cookies prior to the other user being able to log in! You may add your spouse to your User Profile. Likewise, your spouse may add your name.
    2. I urge you to return and have your spouse login with the spouse's Member number and update their own profile. This is the only way that individuals in the home can be assigned different security codes should one of them be authorized one now or in the future.

  3. To get the best results when using an eForm,
    1. Use the proper form and be very specific with your message.
    2. No shorthand please!
    3. Think before you type!
    4. Try and anticipate the necessary information that the recipient would need to address your concern.
       
  4. You can be selective regarding the type of eMail Bulletins that you wish to receive. Simply click on eMail Bulletins and check the boxes. To fulfill the goal of easy communication with the community you are urged to check "All eMail Bulletins including Agenda"
    1. Emergency Preparedness volunteers should sign on to their bulletin
    2. Security Patrol likewise
       
  5. You can now use the site's interactive features:
    1. Chat room
    2. Surveys (when they become available)
    3. Reviews
    4. Message board
       
  6. All e-mail messages are of the "opt-in" variety. You must not only  furnish your e-mail address in your User Profile, but you must also visit the eMail Bulletins module and choose the category of bulletins that you wish to receive. You may later return and remove the check to opt out.
     
  7. Three ways to "logout"
    1. Click on the Log Out link on the Menu Bar
    2. Do nothing for a fifteen minutes, and the server will time you out.
    3. Exit the browser
       
  8. Residents that obtained their SCA Member ID prior to June 1, 2005 should follow the procedure outlined below. Both spouses separately!
     
  9. For our new neighbors that received their SCA Member ID after May 31, 2005, there is an eForm accessible without logging in called New Resident Login Request Form. You will be contacted by e-mail after your User Profile account has been established.
     
  10. There might be some documents on the site that you may not be able to view without additional free programs installed on your computer.
    1. Adobe Reader is required to open PDF documents. Adobe Reader is up to version 7.0.5. The get the update, Windows XP users with an older version may open Adobe Reader and click on Help. Now click on Check for updates now. Just follow the instructions. Users of older Versions of Windows should visit http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html  to check for the appropriate version for their operating system.
    2. PowerPoint documents require either Microsoft PowerPoint, or the free PowerPoint Viewer. You may download the free PowerPoint Viewer here: PowerPoint Viewer

On each visit to the site click on Resident Login:

Your temporary Login name = SCA Member Number, e.g., 00000X101 (use the actual number on your card) You should change this to a login name one that you are familiar with.

Your temporary password is anthem. You should change this.

After logging in for your first visit to the site click on User Profile.

 

Enter your temporary Login Name and password at the stone wall as in the image below.

Please change your password, and your username if you like, and add your e-mail address. You may then add any other information that you would like to share with your neighbors.

If you find that you still can't log in, your User Profile may not yet be established. Complete the New Resident Login Request Form available on the public section of the site. Click here.

Remember, the site will grow in value as our governing documents, approved Board and Committee minutes are added for all to read.
