Please Note: Unless at that meeting [Budget Ratification
Meeting] a majority of all units owners or any larger vote
specified in the declaration reject the budget, the budget is
ratified, whether or not a quorum is present.
NRS 116.3103 (3).
Whether or not a quorum is present, the budget shall
automatically become effective unless disapproved at the meeting
by Persons representing at least 90% of the total votes of the
Association. CC&Rs, Article VIII, Section 8.1

The Minuteman Foundation Donates
Camera
The
Minuteman Foundation has donated a Panasonic AG-DVX100a Video
camera to the Sun City Anthem Community Association for Channel 99
production.
The funds used were a portion of those that were
received as a designated for support of Channel 99.
Watch Channel 99 for the upcoming presentation
of the camera to Jack Herlihy, Chair, Communications Committee by
Chuck Davis, Co-founder and Treasurer and Favil West, Co-founder
and President. |
Medicare Part D Seminar
Thursday, November 17, 9:00 a.m.
Anthem Center
Free Admission
If you are a Medicare beneficiary, you will soon
face a decision about where and how to get your prescription drug
coverage. Open enrollment for Medicare's Part D Prescription
benefit will begin November 15, 2005 and continue until May 15,
2006. A representative of the State Health Insurance Assistance
Program (SHIP) Medicare Counseling Program will be available to
describe Part D in detail and answer your questions. RSVP to
614-5864.

The
Minuteman Foundation is the
organization which provides the funding needed to support the
activities of the Community Service Club. The Foundation is a 501
(c) (3) charity.
Volunteers of the COMMUNITY
SERVICE CLUB provide free assistance to Sun City Anthem residents.
The services included are:
Transportation: To local
area medical providers or supermarkets. Three (3) business days
notice required to arrange for your ride.
Equipment: We will loan you (on a temporary basis) a
wheelchair, walker, crutches, cane, or other durable medical
equipment.
Home Maintenance: Assistance with minor home maintenance
chores such as: cleaning or replacing overhead air filters,
replacing batteries in smoke alarms and carbon monoxide (CO)
detectors, or changing overhead light bulbs.
Home Assistance: Resource Directory of information on
fee-based, discount, and many other services available to seniors.
Volunteers will also shop and deliver groceries or prescription
medication to residents who are temporarily homebound.
Support Groups: CSC sponsors several support groups to
assist the residents of Sun City Anthem. These groups are:
