Attention Sun City Anthem Residents
The Sun City Anthem Covenants Committee is
recruiting for a new member.
The Covenants Committee meets every second Wednesday of the month
from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Anthem Center.
The Covenants Committee is comprised of Sun City Anthem members
and serves as the Hearing Panel for the Association. The Hearings
provide due process for our members, and is very effective in
resolving various compliance issues covered in our Governing
Documents.
The Committee determines whether or not a violation exists and
recommends sanctions to the Association's Board of Directors who
review their recommendations, and impose the sanctions, which can
include fines and/or loss of membership privileges.
If you are interested in becoming a member, please submit a resume
or short bio to the Community Standards office and an interview
will be arranged.
Eastern Avenue to have only two lanes this
weekend!
The City of Henderson has advised the
Association that beginning this Friday, May 5, Eastern Ave. will
be reduced to two lanes each direction (north & south) between
Coronado and Horizon Ridge.
The lane restrictions will be in effect throughout the weekend,
with the roadway scheduled to open Monday morning.
This work is being completed as part of the development of the
South Point Plaza, and includes the milling, grading and paving of
Eastern. If traveling in that area, you may want to consider an
alternate route.
