Kitec Meeting Sunday Evening at 6:00 p.m.

Good Evening:

The meeting on Sunday, January 7th is set for 6:00 p.m. We have seating for only 850 so I would like to ask that only one member per household attend the meeting and that, where possible, car pool.

The meeting will be video taped and will be shown uncut on Channel 99 for a two week period beginning January 9th. In addition, we plan to have the video tape available for viewing in the Greene Room at Anthem Center. It will be available from 8:30 am to 9 PM each day for a 2 week period beginning January 9th.

Thank you for responding to the board’s request for questions. We received more than 250. Your board, Arnie, Terry, and Carl Weinstein spent just over 12 hours yesterday going through the questions, consolidating, prioritizing, and preparing them for tomorrow’s meeting. Obviously, at 3 minutes per question we would spend more than 12 hours answering questions. We whittled that down to fewer than 40. It is likely that no more than 25 or so will be asked in the 2 hours agreed to for the meeting.

What can you expect to see at the meeting? I will open the meeting, then turn it over to our attorney, who will turn it over the the class action attorney who will turn it over to the Pulte attorney. I will take 2 minutes, John 3, the class action attorneys 5, and Pulte 5 minutes. We will then turn the meeting over to a moderator who will mention the names of the people who sent in the question, to whom the question is directed, and then read the question. Each answer is limited to 2 minutes. If the other party desires to respond, 1 minute will be allowed. 1 hour 50 minutes after I open the meeting, the class action attorneys will summarize their position, followed by Pulte. Each are allowed 2 minutes. Our attorney will summarize for approximately 1 minute, then I will close the meeting. In order to maximize the number of questions asked, no questions will be taken from the floor.

Arnie, Terry, as well as resident volunteers will be available to help you find a seat. Security will be present.

Remember folks this is a business meeting arranged and facilitated by your board in order to expose you to as much factual information as possible to enable you to make an informed decision on this issue. The board has no opinion on this issue and will not participate in any respect in any decision you may or may not make. At the end of the meeting on Sunday, you will know everything the board knows about this issue and, if you find you missed something somebody said you can review the meeting on Ch. 99 in the comfort of your own home, or you can view it in the Greene room at the Center beginning January 9th.

Remember, both Hanneman Hall and the parking lot will be packed so be sure to take care of any personal requirements before you come to the meeting. See you Sunday at 6:00 p.m.

Street Light Vandals Working Williamsport Street

Here is the latest "street light cutter." Noticed all street lights out on Williamsport & some cul-de-sacs, reported to 311 last night at 7:00 p.m. This a.m. in daylight, I noticed at the base of street light poles, an open circular hole with bundles of wires pulled out. I called 311 again, and reported this and maybe 'hot wires.' Henderson now sent a electrician over within 2 hrs. He told me this is happening "all over." First vandals come and pull wires so that there is no illumination. Next they return & steal the copper inside this area. Maybe they will have to be welded closed???? So, be careful. If you see street lights out, take a peek at base. There may be wires pulled out ready for the copper thief. Call Henderson police and report "hot wires.” Little dogs maybe killed, along with masters on leash

DETAILED RECAP

Don’t miss Channel 99 this week. Learn more about a place you might not know exists - the Atomic Testing Museum. We’ll have a striking look at our SCA Bowling Club. A SCA resident is a subject of "Hypnosis Gone Wild." An interview with her afterwards is most revealing. Tune in to learn more about close-by Gaetano’s Restaurant on Eastern Ave.

Activities director Greg Dreyer, gives viewers a preview of upcoming SCA activities. For viewers who want to learn more about the equipment at the Fitness Center, Brenda Lorentzen, in her “Brenda’s Body Shop” segment, demonstrates a different workout machine each week. In her humorous “Something to Think About” segment, Lois Krashin shares a Letter to the Bank President written by a 98 year old woman. The show ends with Favil West giving the Board President’s Report.

Be sure to tune-in at 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. every day to view the entire special KITEC meeting held at Anthem Center on Sunday, January 7.
