Recreational Amenities Committee (RECAM)

This committee was formed in order to assist the Del Webb Corporation to understand the desires and needs of the residents of Sun City Anthem.

Definitions

Anthem Annex (a.k.a. CAB-1): Community Activities Building 1, a new 34,774  square foot building to be constructed on the vacant lot adjacent to the Anthem Center. Included in this building is the recent addition of 3,000 square feet to house the:

bulletEmergency Preparedness Committee
bulletSecurity Patrol
bulletCommunications facility
bulletMinuteman Foundation, Inc.

Satellite (a.k.a. CAB-2): Community Activities Building 2, a new 20,400  square foot building to be constructed on a lot approximately one mile south of the Anthem Center.

The FacilCost group, an ad hoc group formed in the Spring of 2002 has worked diligently to gather information both from the residents and far and wide. This information was presented to the RECAM on January 21, 2003.
